GalaCommand is a Tanzania-based provider of web-based event-management software. This policy applies when you visit our website, create an organizer account, manage an event, respond as a guest, use a collaborator link, upload content or contact us.
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, account details, event information, guest and collaborator records, RSVP responses, messages, uploaded files, preferences and support enquiries. We also collect limited technical information such as device, browser, IP address, security events and service-usage activity.
Payments are processed by an authorized payment provider. GalaCommand does not store complete card numbers or card security codes. We may receive transaction identifiers, plan details, payment status, billing country, amount and limited customer information needed to activate access, provide receipts, prevent fraud and support billing enquiries.
We use information to provide and personalize the service, authenticate users, publish invitations at an organizer's direction, process RSVPs and collaborator updates, store event records and media, activate paid access, communicate service notices, provide support, detect abuse, maintain security, understand performance and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the context, we process information to perform our contract with users, follow an organizer's instructions, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing GalaCommand, comply with law, or act with consent. Organizers are responsible for establishing an appropriate legal basis for guest and collaborator information they collect through GalaCommand.
An organizer determines what event-specific information is collected and who may access it. For those records, GalaCommand processes information on the organizer's behalf. Guests and collaborators should normally contact the relevant organizer first about corrections, visibility or deletion of event-specific content.
We share information only as needed with organizers and people they authorize, infrastructure and storage providers, authentication services, payment providers, support and security providers, and professional advisers or authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information. Public or shareable event content is displayed only according to the organizer's settings and applicable guest permissions.
Some service providers may process information outside Tanzania. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical and organizational safeguards for cross-border processing. Payment providers process data under their own privacy notices in addition to this policy.
We retain information while an account or event remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to provide exports, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and satisfy legal, tax or accounting obligations. Retention may vary by record type and subscription plan. Users may request deletion, subject to records we must lawfully retain.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use strong passwords, protect private invitation and collaborator links, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to an appropriate authority. Some information can be updated directly through the service.
GalaCommand is not directed to children who are legally unable to consent to online services. Organizers should avoid collecting unnecessary information about children and must obtain any permission required by law before adding or publishing such information.
We may update this policy as GalaCommand develops or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects users' rights or how information is used.
